UNC men's basketball rolls past Appalachian State

After missing 11 of its first 12 shots in Saturday's game against UCLA, No. 7 North Carolina missed its first shot on Monday night against Appalachian State. The Mountaineers promptly sank a 3-pointer on their ensuing possession.

That was the only hope the soon-to-be 2-9 Mountaineers had Wednesday night. UNC scored 15 points in the next four minutes, 10 from senior Brice Johnson and five from sophomore Joel Berry. The Tar Heels would go on to win 94-70, showcasing what a matchup between one of the country's best offenses and worst defenses should look like.

Johnson entered the game on a torrential scoring pace.
