The students’ goal was to report on stories coming from the excavation and about those working on the dig. They used radio, TV, print and photography to tell their stories. There was no shortage of challenges for the UNC group, led by journalism professors Charlie Tuggle and John Robinson. Each day, the team had to leave for the excavation at 4:30 a.m. (Chapelboro.com)
