When the Chicago Bears took Mitchell Trubisky with the second overall pick in April’s draft, nobody knew what to expect.

The Bears had just locked up Mike Glennon for the next couple years, but apparently, they wanted some competition. However, the competition did not last too long, because Trubisky made his NFL debut in Week 5.

It only took him eleven games to leave his mark on the Bears rookie record books.

On Sunday, in a 20-3 win over his hometown Cleveland Browns, Trubisky broke the Chicago Bears rookie record for most passing yards in a single season.
