Former Chicago Bears star Julius Peppers returned to Soldier Field in a matchup against rookie Mitch Trubisky in Week 7.
Peppers and Trubisky may play different sides of the ball, but their similarities are undeniable. The two both starred in Chapel Hill and were second off the board in their respective drafts.
The Bears walked out victorious thanks to defensive back Eddie Jackson who scored 14 of the team’s 17 points. The win gave Trubisky his second victory in three starts.
Trubisky only attempted 7 passes and completed 4 but Julius Peppers noticed something that doesn’t show up in the box score.
