Chicago Bears second-year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is headed to the 2019 NFL Pro Bowl to be held on Sunday, January 27th.
Trubisky was initially listed as an injury replacement player for the game when Pro Bowl voting results were released last month. Now, though, with Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff headed to the Super Bowl the following Sunday, Trubisky will take his spot at the event.
The former Tar Heel standout would have made it the to game regardless, since both Goff and Saints quarterback Drew Brees were voted to the original Pro Bowl roster. It’s Trubisky now, however, that will join Brees and Seattle signal caller Russell Wilson at the all-star game.
