Wayne Ellington is at it again.
For the fifth time in the last 23 games, the Miami Heat shooting guard scored 20 or more points in a game off the bench. It’s the 13th time during that span that he’s notched double-digits in the scoring column, increasing his scoring average from 8.2 points per game to 10.2 since the month of November.
Ellington has knocked down 61 three-pointers over his last 17 games, better than 3.5 per game. His 104 made three-pointers this season are sixth-place in the league and one more than two-time MVP Stephen Curry, despite having five fewer three-point attempts.
