In a turn of events that’s shocking to absolutely nobody, the Milwaukee Bucks waived journeyman point guard Kendall Marshall.
The Bucks announced his release on Saturday evening, lowering their training camp roster to 19.
The former Tar Heel played limited minutes in three preseason games with the Bucks, scoring three points and recording just 11 assists to seven turnovers. The lone bright spot of Marshall’s preseason action was the 10-assist game he had in a loss to Dallas.
To say that Marshall was a long shot to make the team’s opening day roster would be putting it kind.
