WILMINGTON, N.C. – The University of North Carolina women’s golf team jumped two spots in the second day of play at the Landfall Tradition. Junior Leslie Cloots finished play today as the top Tar Heel when she moved up 15 spots in the player leaderboard with a 2-over 74.
"We saw more confidence in the team along with better course management. A couple of the tough par 3's cost us again today," said head coach Jan Mann. "Hoping to improve on them tomorrow and move up the leaderboard."
The Tar Heels improved to 15th in round two with a 35-over 611.
