CHAPEL HILL --- After seeing its three-game win streak come to an end last Thursday in Durham, North Carolina returns to Kenan Stadium for a non-conference contest with The Citadel on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 3:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. Carolina is ranked No. 25 in the coaches poll and is the second team receiving votes in the Associated Press poll. Saturday's game is Military Appreciation Day in Chapel Hill.
In its most recent action, Carolina lost to Duke, 28-27. The Tar Heels jumped out to a 14-0 lead behind the steady play of standout quarterback Mitch Trubisky who finished the game with 297 yards passing and three touchdowns.
