CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – A special home season for the UNC field hockey team will wrap up on Sunday as the Tar Heels host Michigan at Karen Shelton Stadium for an NCAA Tournament second-round matchup. Start time is 1 p.m. and the winner earns at least one more game, moving on to Louisville, Ky., for the NCAA semifinals next Friday. Win or lose, though, this team of Tar Heels won't play again in Chapel Hill.
This year's team is 20-0, with 11 of those wins coming at home. The 11th was earned on Friday, when UNC beat William & Mary 4-0 to advance to the NCAA second round.
