Games against FCS opponents are always tough to grade. They have every reason to give 100% and pull an upset, but the talent disparity is usually such that they wear out and the FBS team can win without too much effort. Such was the case Saturday night as a really sleepy game for the Tar Heels never felt much in doubt but still wasn’t as comfortable as it should have been.
That said, the game still made some headlines for Carolina for a couple of things: the continued awesomeness of Omarion Hampton and the sudden question of starting quarterback for the Tar Heels.
