With Bubba Cunningham confirming to R.L. Bynum of the Tar Heel Tribune that Mack Brown will not coach in UNC’s bowl game this postseason, this week’s rivalry game against N.C. State will be Brown’s last as the head coach at UNC. A game that needs no external factors to be a yearly event of high drama will have them nonetheless, and the emotion of and around this game is going to be heightened to the nth degree on the field.
