It’s been an interesting season on the gridiron in Chapel Hill. North Carolina (5-4) has endured rollercoaster-like spurts, with streaks of W3, L4, and now W2. Staring down three ACC matchups down the stretch to conclude 2024, one of the more historically challenging parts of the calendar is upon us.
In back-to-back-to-back seasons, the Tar Heels have botched strong starts and turned them into limping disasters. The 2021 squad lost three of the last four, the 2022 group finished on a four-game losing streak, and after being undefeated and AP No. 10 last year, North Carolina lost five of its last seven.
