So far in Mack Brown’s second stint as head coach at the University of North Carolina, he’s put an emphasis on landing in-state talent for his recruiting classes.
While Brown was only on the job for a few months, his 2019 class was still impressive and included the flip of four-star quarterback Sam Howell who is projected to be the starter when UNC opens up the season vs. South Carolina. Brown was able to land a class that finished ranked 29th nationally per 247 Sports.
Brown’s 2020 class has hovered around the Top 10 for some time and is currently 18th as we get ready to close out the month of August.
