The North Carolina Tar Heels and NC State Wolfpack will take the field on Saturday night in Raleigh with a bowl game on the line for one team. The Wolfpack are ineligible to reach a bowl after losing to Georgia Tech and entering the game with four wins but for the Tar Heels, they just need that final win to become eligible.
UNC enters the game at 5-6 overall and needs to get to 6-6 to keep their season going. It would be an accomplishment in the first season of Mack Brown’s second stint and would be the first bowl game since 2016.
