Landing a Top 10 recruiting class isn’t out of the ordinary for the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball program. Roy Williams has done a great job in recruiting since his return to the program as head coach in 2003.
While that’s the case for the basketball program, it’s just not the same for the football program.
The Tar Heels struggle to even land a Top 25 class in some years, most recently under former head coach Larry Fedora. But things might be changing for the better soon with new head coach Mack Brown at the helm.
It’s still early but from the looks of it, Brown has begun to transform UNC recruiting for the better in Chapel Hill.
