The North Carolina Tar Heels’ football program received some good news over the past two days, landing two commitments from athletes in the 2021 recruiting class.
First it was three-star athlete Tymir Brown pledging his verbal commitment on Tuesday night to the Tar Heels. Then on Wednesday, four-star athlete DeAndre Boykins verbally committed to the program, giving UNC 11 commitments in the class.
While they haven’t landed a commitment on Thursday, yet, they did still get some good news regarding a five-star player in the 2021 class. Offensive tackle Amarius Mims released his Top 14 list on Thursday, cutting down his list from the 17 offers to 14 teams.
