Just a day after the North Carolina Tar Heels football team lost a big piece in the 2020 recruiting class, they added to it with a commitment.
In-state running back D.J. Jones revealed earlier on Wednesday that he was set to announce his college decision and hours later, he made it. The Fayetteville, North Carolina native was celebrating his birthday on Wednesday and announced he would be attending the University of North Carolina, picking the Tar Heels over the Michigan Wolverines.
The three-star running back had a total of 11 offers including from UNC, Michigan, Duke and Missouri among others.
