University of North Carolina head coach Mack Brown has added to his 2019 recruiting class.
With National Signing Day completed back in February, the focus shifted to Brown’s 2020 recruiting class. But on Thursday, Brown and the program received some big news.
Four-star athlete and former Auburn commit Cam’Ron Kelly announced he is transferring from the program to UNC.
He made the announcement via a Twitter post early Thursday afternoon:
The Chesapeake, VA originally committed to Auburn on August 22nd but wanted to be closer to home and decided to transfer. He drew interest from UNC, Virginia Tech, Virginia, NC State and Maryland among other programs but the Tar Heels eventually won out with a scholarship available.
