The North Carolina football program received a verbal commitment from a class of 2019 prospect on Friday morning.
Raykwon Anderson, a 5-foot-9, 167-pound wide receiver out of Charlton County High School in Folkston, Georgia, announced his plans to attend the University of North Carolina.
Anderson, who was deciding between UNC and Central Florida, had initially planned to make his announcement on July 2nd. The day prior, though, Anderson publicly conveyed his intent to delay the announcement.
In the end, it was North Carolina that won his commitment over Central Florida and a number of other schools who offered him.
