Mack Brown and the North Carolina Tar Heels got a good one in class of 2020 prospect Josh Downs. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound wide receiver committed to the UNC football program back in February, and is part of a 21-player class that’s ranked 15th in the nation, and includes three other 4-star recruits.
A senior at North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia, Downs is ranked third-highest among North Carolina’s 2020 commits, and squarely inside the top 250 of the 247Sports Composite. He’s the No. 238 prospect in the class, and 42nd among players at his position.
