Georgia Tech came to Kenan Stadium today but they were no match for the Tar Heels 48-20 victory for Homecoming.
The Tar Heels received the opening kickoff, and marched 75 yards down the field in 1 minute and 45 seconds with the help of a 45-yard run from the big man, Elijah Hood, and never really looked back.
Georgia Tech went three and out on the following drive, but were an absolute pest for the rest of the half.
Following Tech’s first two drives that left them two scores down, Paul Johnson’s offense scored on four straight possessions, and it appeared the Heels were in a shoot out.
