While the North Carolina Tar Heels need a win on Saturday vs. NC State to become bowl eligible, some news about a future schedule was released on Monday.
The football program announced they have added a new opponent to their 2020 schedule for next season. Instead of playing Old Dominion in Chapel Hill at the end of the year, they will be replaced by UCONN.
The game will take place on Saturday, November 7th right in the stretch run of the Tar Heels schedule.
This will be the fourth time UNC and UCONN will meet on the football field with the last time being in 2009.
