As the NFL Draft approaches, a handful of Tar Heels are hoping to earn the opportunity to play at the next level. Six of North Carolina’s best from last season just got one step closer, as the National Football League announced the list of official invitees to the 2025 NFL Combine.
The annual event allows already touted players to elevate their stock prior to draft night, participating in a handful of events with scouts and media galore in the building. It will take place in Indianapolis from Feb. 24 to Mar. 3.
Those Tar Heels headed to Lucas Oil Stadium are RB Omarion Hampton, CB Alijah Huzzie, LB Power Echols, TE Bryson Nesbit, DL Jahvaree Ritzee, and DL Kaimon Rucker.
