Class of 2018 cornerback D.J. Crossen verbally committed to the University of North Carolina Friday night during a ceremony at his high school.
The 6’2”, 180-pound defensive back is a junior at James B. Dudley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina where he was born and raised.
Crossen’s commitment continues a trend of dominance for the Tar Heels in the state of North Carolina.
He’s UNC’s second commitment in the class of 2018, joining cornerback Donte Burton out of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Larry Fedora and the Tar Heels have already signed five of the top 11 football players from the state of North Carolina in the class of 2017.
