The linebackers group for the North Carolina Tar Heels have a combined 28 starts. Power Echols accounts for 27 of them.
Amare Campbell has the only other collegiate start for the linebackers, but bad news broke over the weekend. Campbell, the presumptive starter and replacement for two-time First Team All-ACC linebacker Cedric Gray, broke his right hand last week.
With just one player on solid ground to start the season, the young and inexperienced linebacker group has a tremendous challenge ahead of them this season.
