James Madison is now in its third season in the Sun Belt Conference, a league that has been pretty stout as of late with the likes of App State and Coastal Carolina.
Like its namesake, the fourth president, James Madison has a more than solid history and culture with two FCS national championship wins and two national championship losses.
Similar to App State, JMU has made the jump from FCS quite admirably, going 19-4 in their first two years. They upset Virginia last year and Virginia Tech in 2010.
