The New Orleans Saints announced 13 roster changes on Monday, including the release of three players, and the signing of 10 others.
Among the players signed — and potentially the most impactful — was former University of North Carolina standout and Super Bowl Champion Sylvester Williams. The 6-year NFL veteran has played for three teams in the last two years after spending four seasons with the Denver Broncos from 2013 to 2016. After being selected 28th overall in the 2013 NFL Draft and spending four years in Denver, Williams had short stints in Tennessee, Detroit and Miami.
Williams had a successful run with the Broncos that saw him collect nearly 100 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 5.
