Fans at Saturday’s North Carolina-Duke game in Chapel Hill were treated to a special surprise at halftime.
Former UNC and NBA legend Michael Jordan took the court to address the crowd about the Tar Heels football’s new partnership with Jordan Brand.
As soon as Jordan hit the court, the arena erupted as they recognized who it was.
Jordan announced the partnership, naming the Tar Heels as the second football school to be sponsored by Jordan Brand. He smiled and talked about the program’s future, hoping this partnership can help them continue to build.
UNC head coach Larry Fedora and a few players joined Jordan on the court for the announcement, as Jordan wore a brand new football shirt.
