Former University of North Carolina defensive end Jason Strowbridge was selected in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 154th overall by the Miami Dolphins. Strowbridge is the second Tar Heel taken in this year’s draft, and the 240th in program history. He’s the 19th UNC football player selected in the fifth round of the draft, and fifth in the history of the Dolphins organization.
“Ever since I was a little boy, I dreamed of playing in the NFL,” Strowbridge said. “I’ve gone through a lot of highs and lows on my journey, but it’s all been worth it to get to this point.
