When it was announced that Chazz Surratt would be making the position switch from quarterback to linebacker this offseason, it was hard to predict what we should expect. The North Carolina staff and Surratt felt like this move was the best for his career and it’s paid off.
After spending the first two years as a quarterback, Surratt now finds himself on the All-Atlantic Coast Conference First Team as a linebacker. He led the ACC in tackles this season and earned his spot on the team, marking the only Tar Heel player to be named to the First Team.
