The North Carolina Tar Heels might find themselves with an emergency quarterback situation vs. Clemson on Saturday in what would be the worst case scenario.
UNC will enter the game with their usual starter Sam Howell at quarterback but if for whatever reason gets hurt, they will have to turn to the backup. The only problem is, backup Jace Ruder is questionable for the game. Ruder suffered a leg injury during the first half of the loss to Appalachian State on Saturday and UNC officially ruled him questionable for the Clemson matchup.
So where would UNC turn next if Howell were to get hurt?
