The North Carolina Tar Heels football program is on the board here in the 2020 NFL Draft.
After not having a prospect selected in the first three rounds of the draft, offensive tackle Charlie Heck became the first Tar Heel to hear his name called in 2020. The Houston Texans selected Heck with the No. 126th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Texans moved up in the fourth round, trading picks No. 136, 248 and 250 to the Los Angeles Rams to draft the offensive tackle.
Heck is an intriguing prospect with NFL bloodlines. His father, Andy, was a first round pick in 1989 and played 11 years in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins.
