Former University of North Carolina football standout Austin Proehl scored two touchdowns for the Seattle Dragons in the inaugural 2020 XFL game on Saturday. Proehl hauled in five receptions for 88 yards on the game, and was one of the few bright spots in his team’s 31-19 loss to the DC Defenders.
His first score of the game was a 14-yard reception that put the Dragons on top late in the first quarter. It was also the first touchdown of the season by any player in the XFL. His second touchdown was a 57-yard strike that tied the game at 19 points a piece in the third quarter.
