The North Carolina Tar Heels football team will be adding another piece to its offense for the 2018 season.
Just weeks after running back Antonio Williams announced he was transferring to UNC from Ohio State, he and the program got good news. According to Inside Carolina, Williams was officially cleared by the NCAA and ruled eligible to play beginning in the 2018 season.
The New London, North Carolina native has two years of eligibility remaining and the Tar Heels applied for a waiver to bypass the transfer rule, which would have forced him to sit out for a season.
