The North Carolina Tar Heels are usually represented well in the annual Shrine Bowl game that will be played in December.
Officially named the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas, the annual game features the best high school football players in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina. The 2017 game will mark the 81st annual game.
For UNC, this year they will send all of their instate recruits in the 2018 class marking five total for the game.
That includes top recruits Jordyn Adams and Payton Wilson, who highlight UNC’s 2018 class which will be a key one in Larry Fedora’s tenure.
