The North Carolina Tar Heels football program could be getting a big boost to its defensive line this season.
According to Inside Carolina’s Don Callahan, the University of North Carolina’s admissions office has cleared four-star defensive tackle Brant Lawless and he’s expected to enroll and join the football program as soon as he can. Callahan has been all over this story since Lawless showed interest at UNC and broke the news on Thursday afternoon.
Lawless was previously committed to Tennessee picking them over teams like Alabama, Oklahoma, LSU, Auburn, Ohio State, Georgia and Vanderbilt. But that was when Butch Jones was the head coach of the Volunteers.
