The end of the college baseball season also meant the end of the college sports season in general. We’re now into the dead period until the summer ends and football, field hockey, soccer, and all the rest of the fall sports start up again in August and September.
The sporting year coming to an end is also a chance to look back at what happened. It also means that we can take a look at how the athletic program in general did by checking the final standings of the Learfield Directors Cup.
The Directors Cup is a competition which tries to crown the best athletic department in a given year by awarding points for national championships and other good finishes in all the various different NCAA sponsored sports.
