Georgia Tech did absolutely everything in their power to hand UNC a win on Saturday afternoon. The Tar Heels politely declined that offer, turning their own first down inside the five into a virtual walk-off 68-yard touchdown for the Yellow Jackets. It wasn’t a game that it really ever felt like Carolina could win until their final drive when Georgia Tech repeatedly shot themselves in the foot. Still, they were unable to take what was handed to them on their way to the 41-34 loss.
Jacolby Criswell was better than his final 209-yard line indicates. Criswell did have two scores on the ground but just one through the air and no interceptions.
