CARY, North Carolina - Junior Chloe Ouellet-Pizer's win on court six sent second ranked and No. 3 seed North Carolina to a 4-1 victory over No. 34/11th seed Wake Forest in an Atlantic Coast Conference Championship women's tennis quarterfinal match on Friday afternoon from Cary Tennis Park.
North Carolina (24-3) advances to the ACC semifinals for the 10th year in a row, and evens its record to 5-5 all-time against Wake Forest (19-13) in the ACC Championship.
The two semifinal matches on Saturday feature the top-four seeds and will be shown live on ACC Network Extra beginning at 10 a.
