North Carolina defensive back Bryson Richardson will miss the 2019 season after tearing his Achilles tendon earlier this week. Richardson, a sophomore from Lawrenceville, Ga., had surgery on Friday. The 6-foot, 190-pound defensive back was expected to compete for playing time at safety under position coach and defensive coordinator Jay Bateman. (Inside Carolina)
