Saturday’s UNC game against Miami was a little uneventful in a good way. It was the kind of easy win where Carolina jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. It resulted in a 92-73 win over the struggling Hurricanes in Chapel Hill.
Six Tar Heels finished the game in double figures with a seventh falling just one point shy of the mark. Ven-Allen Lubin led the Heels in scoring with 19 points ahead of Drake Powell with 16. Jae’Lyn Withers, whose improved play has been a pillar of the recent win streak, had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
