UNC could not keep any of the good vibes rolling from Saturday’s win against Pittsburgh when they entered Littlejohn Coliseum on Monday evening. The Tar Heels were torched in an uninspiring effort that was uncompetitive pretty much wire to wire on their way to an 85-65 loss.
Despite the fact that the Tigers only made four more field goals than the Tar Heels the game was never really in doubt. Clemson got everything they wanted particularly from beyond the arc as they made 12 of their 25 three-point attempts. Carolina shot 45% from the field, which is usually enough to avoid embarrassment, but their four made threes were no match for the Tigers’ offense.
