The first weekend of the Spring AAU circuit took place two weekends ago, spanning across Atlanta, Dallas and Kansas City. We already gave you some insight on where Roy Williams and his North Carolina staff was at, watching several prospects in the 2020 and 2021 classes.
One of those players is 2020 five-star forward Ziaire Williams out of California. Williams was in Atlanta playing on the Nike EYBL circuit with his AAU team Oakland Soldiers. The Tar Heels were in attendance in Atlanta to watch that circuit and caught a glimpse of Williams while doing so.
Following the event, D1 Circuit put together their MVP and All-First team of five players who stood out at the event.
