ESPN’s Joe Lunardi released his 16th Bracketology of the season on Tuesday, and his latest projections feature very little change among the top 16 teams. There was, however, a shake-up on the bracket’s top line.
Duke, Virginia and Tennessee all held firmly onto their spots among the bracket’s 1-seeds, while former No. 1 seed Michigan was replaced in the West region by Gonzaga. The Wolverines suffered a disappointing 15-point road loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes on Friday night, opening the door for Mark Few’s Bulldogs to take the bracket’s final 1-seed.
Michigan joins Kentucky, Michigan State and North Carolina on the 2-line.
