The month of April has been kind to Hubert Davis and North Carolina men’s basketball thus far.
The Tar Heels have reeled in two transfer portal commitments in four days, looking to replace the losses of RJ Davis, Jae’Lyn Withers, Ty Claude, Jalen Washington, Elliot Cadeau and potentially others. Jonathan Powell (West Virginia) and Henri Veesaar (Arizona) are the newest additions, adding size and talent to a roster experiencing a near-complete turnover.
But, what does it all mean? Over 1,000 college basketball players have entered the portal. In UNC’s case, every addition won’t be a starter.
