This week, two North Carolina Tar Heels were named to the 2021 Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Watch List.
Senior forward Garrison Brooks and freshman guard Caleb Love are two of 50 collegiate players named to the preseason watch list for the top basketball player in the country.
The inclusion of Brooks on the Naismith Trophy Watch List adds to his high preseason expectations. Brooks was projected as the ACC Player of the Year and added to the watch list for 2021 Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award.
UNC is one of nine teams with multiple players on the preseason list.
