Theo Pinson, a member of both the Brooklyn Nets and their G-League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, put up a big performance for the latter in a Tuesday night victory over the Wisconsin Herd.
Pinson, who attended the University of North Carolina from 2014 to 2018, has split time between the two organizations over the past two seasons. And while he spent the majority of the 2018-19 season in the G-League, this season has been quite the opposite. Last year, he made 34 appearances with Long Island, and played in 18 games with Brooklyn. This season, he’s played in just six G-League games, as he’s spent most of the season in the NBA, making 28 appearances with Brooklyn.
