Brandon Robinson scored a career-high 20 points thanks to a career-best five made three-pointers, as North Carolina topped Yale at the Dean Smith Center on Monday night.
Robinson knocked down 7-of-18 shots from the floor and 5-of-12 from beyond the arc before fouling out late in the second half. UNC senior guard Justin Pierce added 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting for the Tar Heels, while Garrison Brooks recorded an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double against the Bulldogs. Freshman point guard Jeremiah Francis got the first start of his college career, logging 10 points, five assists and four rebounds.
The Tar Heels struggled on the offensive end of the court again, shooting just 36.
