Over the past few months, four-star point guard Tre Mann has asserted himself as one of the top back court prospects in the country. And as quickly as he has moved into the national spotlight, the North Carolina Tar Heels have jumped to the forefront of his recruitment.
Mann, a 6-foot-4, 170-pound senior at Villages Charter School in The Villages, Florida, had announced a final list that included just three schools; Florida, Kansas and Tennessee. It was after that, though, and around the same time that the Tar Heels began showing increased interest, that Mann reopened his recruitment.
